Sloveč farm in the Czech Republic relies on Kramer machines

A total of three Kramer loaders are used on the Sloveč farm in the Czech Republic.

The ZS Sloveč farm in the Czech Republic relies on German quality with Kramer machines and appreciates the excellent service and proximity of the sales partner.

ZS Sloveč operates a total of three farms and is part of an agricultural cooperative. Three Kramer loaders are currently in use on the three ZS Sloveč farms. The entire agricultural cooperative uses a total of six Kramer loaders. After the political change in 1989, machines were initially purchased from national machine manufacturers and later switched to international manufacturers. The Slowec company now relies entirely on Kramer machines for all material handling operations.

Sloveč operates three sites with a total of 3,000 hectares of land and 66 employees. More than 750 dairy cows and about 500 young cattle are managed on the farm. Wheat, barley, rape, soya, sugar beet and maize are grown. Much of the produce generated goes into finishing and the farm's own seed production.

Two Kramer KT559 telehandlers and one Kramer KL30.5T telescopic wheel loader are currently in use at the Sloveč farm sites. In 2018, the first machine arrived, the KL30.5T telescopic wheel loader, which has since been driven for a total of over 5,000 operating hours.

Then in 2021, the first Kramer telehandler KT559 arrived on the farm and is currently being used for around 700 operating hours per year. Due to the reliable performance and the machine's versatility, such as loading various materials, feeding the animals, transporting big bags, another KT559 followed in 2022. The telehandler feature a payload of 5,500 tonnes and a lifting height of up to 9 metres.

Tomaz H., the technical manager of ZS Sloveč, chose Kramer because of the "Made in Germany" quality.

The agricultural machinery dealer Strom Praha a.s. has its headquarters in Prague and has been a Kramer sales partner since 2016. Strom Praha a.s. operates its own spare parts warehouse, which enables the sales partner's service team to react quickly when needed at short notice.

All in all, it is clear that the Sloveč operation relies on state-of-the-art technology and uses a wide range of Kramer machines. By using a camera on the KL35.5T including weighing equipment, workflows can be optimised and effective management of the fields and optimum care of the dairy cows can be ensured. The camera provides an optimal view into the bucket and into the self-propelled feed mixer wagon with the concentrated feed components for the total mixed ration (TMR) to enable feeding of the high-performance dairy cows. The camera is used to evenly distribute the concentrate in the feed mixer wagon and not lose anything on the way into the feed mixer wagon, as the mixing ratio has been accurately calculated beforehand.

The proximity of the spare parts warehouse of our agricultural machinery dealer Strom in combination with the excellent service were decisive for the final purchase decision.
